Professor Elena Vazquez Cendón, a member of the Research Group in Mathematical Engineering (mat+i) belonging to the Spanish Network for Mathematics and Industry, is the coordinator in the University of Santiago de Compostela of the Interuniversity Master in Mathematical Engineering that form specializing professionals for later access at companies.

The Spanish Network for Mathematics & Industry (math-in) was created as a private non-profit organization on 30th September 2011 with the signing of the articles of association in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

The math-in network is aimed at providing solutions and transferring mathematical technology to the productive sectors of society, especially to companies and public Administrations.
