Stablished in July 2007, the Institute of Mathematics, University of Sevilla (IMUS) was born with the firm purpose of developing a unique research environment who successfully combine in a single space to the different research groups of varied disciplines that drives projects of the Faculty of Mathematics.
This initiative aims to demonstrate the capabilities of industrial development and environmental protection that contributes applied mathematics in general, and at the University of Seville in particular, as well as bring Applied Mathematics to high-tech industry based on the Sevilla environment and to the administration responsible for environmental protection.
