math-in has always been aware of how important the knowledge of potential customers is, as well as the adaptation of our products and services to the needs of the market. In 2009 we carried out a project aimed at examining the level of knowledge, use, satisfaction and needs (mainly training) in the field of mathematics in four major areas:
- Computer-Aided Design systems (CAD).
- Numerical simulation in companies (usually called CAE).
- Statistical and operational research tools.
- Other mathematical techniques applicable to industry.
The main results of this project can be checked below in this section. We have also included other publications where the results of this project have been disseminated (e.g. McGraw and Springer) as well as other documents from other bodies that examine the demand for mathematical technology in case it is of interest to website users.
